Triple Pointed Security- Palisade Fencing

When it comes to security fencing there are few fences that can offer anywhere near the level of security that palisade fencing can. Here is a brief explanation of why palisade fencing is perfect for guarding any factory or industrial building.
Palisade security fencing has been used time and time again. It is a tried, tested and proven method of keeping a site secure. There are a multitude of reasons why it is so effective and here are just a few of them.

Anti-Climb

Palisade fencing is exceptionally difficult to climb. This is because it has a number of different properties that make climbing it tricky.

The Design

Palisade fencing is made up of two horizontal rails that attach to steel posts that are embedded in the ground. Then pails are attached to the rails vertically. Because the pails run vertically as opposed to horizontally it means that there is less to hold on to when you are attempting to climb the fence.

The Points

Palisade fencing is renowned for having sharp points on it. The palisade fencing that we supply has triple pointed pails. These pails mean that even if someone has managed to climb to the top of your fence they are going to have a hard time getting over the top without hurting themselves.
Also our top rails have spikes between the places where the pails go. This makes it exceptionally difficult to use the top rail as a hand hold for anyone trying to scale your fence.

The Strength And Durability

Palisade fencing is extremely strong and tough. It is made from galvanised steel and offers and can is durable enough to last for many years. It requires heavy duty tools to cut through making it difficult for people who would try to cut through your fence to succeed in doing so.

Best Use of Innovation and Technology Award Win for First Fence!

Following the success we had at the Best Business Awards back in May of this year, where we won three awards, we decided to enter the 2016 Burton Mail Best Business Awards.

On 20th October 2016 we had the privilege of attending the Burton Mail Best Business Awards at the Pirelli Stadium in Burton upon Trent. We were in the shortlist for the Best Use of Innovation or Technology Award and the Best Business Award.

The competition was tough with many local companies nominated as well as larger companies such as Nestlé, however we are thrilled to announce that we won the award for Best use of Innovation and Technology category, and we were a Finalist & Highly Commended for Business of the Year.

It is a huge honour to have won this award and we are very proud of all of our staff who have worked tirelessly in all areas of our business to make this possible and gain the recognition that they deserve.

We would also like to thank all of our customers and clients who have worked with us and supported us over the past 6 years, without you none of this would have been possible, so thank you for your ongoing support!

What did we do to win this award?
When we started looking for an alternative to the manual paper tray order fulfilment system, which we were using at the time, we found that there were no specific systems which met our requirements. General systems that were available would be too expensive to adapt and were too complicated to use, which would greatly increase training time and potentially cause us to alter in house procedures to accommodate such a system.

Instead we decided to develop our own order fulfilment system which met our own specific requirements, but could also be configured for other businesses, meaning that we were able to bring it to market where there was a clear niche for such a system.
Our in-house development team created a complex and comprehensible system which enabled us process and monitor orders in a much cleaner and efficient way as opposed to the manual paper tray system which we used before.

This system can be customised for each individual users needs and features multiple options for navigation and acquisition, making it very easy to use. Because of the versatility of this system, we have successfully marketed our product to a number of businesses, and received requests from several companies to customise the system for their own order fulfilment needs.

The success of this OFS system has allowed us to become more efficient as a whole with monitoring and processing orders, causing less errors to be made and reducing the amount of paperwork needed. This has enabled us to quickly expand and grow as a company over the past six years and we hope to expand further in the future. We believe that this software has the potential to go the distance and be the future of configurable OFS systems.

Click and Collect Service

We have recently introduced a Click and Collect Service at all of our nationwide depots. We feel it is an important factor to include when selling products online. A lot of places now have a Click and Collect Service whether it is in a supermarket or a clothing store so why should we be any different?

The Click and Collect Service gives our customers the chance to pick up their belongings in their own time without the need of waiting for a delivery driver. Collections are available at our Bristol, Dartford, Swadlincote and Tipton branches when arranged over the phone with a member of our Sales Team.

How does Click and Collect work?
So if items are ordered on our online store, there is an option to request ‘Collection’ with the branch you would like to collect from. However, if you are speaking to a member of the Sales Team, they can take payment over the phone and can organise a collection day and time for you – just let them know!

If you are collecting from our Swadlincote branch, we can take cash and card payments whereas our other depots require payment over the phone beforehand. Just be aware that we do not have payment facilities at our Bristol, Dartford and Tipton branches so it is important to make payment before collecting.

When you arrive at one of our depots, please provide the name the order was placed under and the order reference number. This will make the collection requests easier to manage and will allow us to load your vehicles quicker.
